Dominican School for Deaf Children

For 79 years this school has been educating deaf learners in the Western Cape. Many of these children come from disadvantaged backgrounds, and quite a few pupils have to live in at the school's hostel because their families live far away. Hollywoodbets Wynberg chose to support this school for the third time by donating some linen to the hostel. Lucinda Rutter, school principal, thanked the company for the continued support.

"The deaf children come from indigent environments and often do not have bedding. Hollywoodbets has provided us with curtains and duvet covers. These much-needed items have made the dormitories a beautiful place to sleep and spend time in. It gives the learners the opportunity to experience a comfortable environment," she said.
