Zenzele Counselling Centre
The Zenzele Counselling Centre provides both physical and psychological care to the members of their community by feeding the vulnerable children in the area and running programmes that promote personal growth.
Our team received a very warm welcome from the staff and children at Zenzele when they visited the centre on the 10th of November 2016 to show their support. Everyone was overjoyed to receive the goods the Hollywoodbets team delivered including three toilets, taps for the bathrooms, paint, roof sealant, feminine hygiene products and toys for the smaller children.
After a welcoming speech by Roselina Dhlamini, the centre manager, the Hollywoodbets team addressed the staff and kids, explaining more about our social responsibility programme.
Roselina is grateful that Hollywoodbets Lenz Station chose Zenzele as their beneficiary for this year.
“This donation means so much to us because this centre needs a lot of development. The items that were donated today will help us to improve our buildings and the feminine hygiene products and toys will also be put to good use.”Keketso Mabulela, Champion of Corporate Social Investment for Hollywoodbets Gauteng, was also present at the donation.
“At Hollywoodbets each of our branches supports a charity within their local area so we are always looking out for organisations to support. We chose Zenzele because we heard about the good work that they were doing, and that they were in need of real support. The staff kindly let us visit the centre before we made our decision and once we saw everything the centre offers to the community we knew we had to support the good work they are doing. We hope that this donation will be of good use to them and wish them all the best with their future work."
